This is an old video but it never ceases to amaze me what a well-tuned diesel engine can do!
..and I have to confess, seeing all that black smoke belching out the truck's pipe doesn't hurt either.
The skinny behind this rig: Pacific Performance put this thing together. As you can see from their gallery of this beast you can see that a lot of work went into it, from a body lift to a massive array of fans for the radiator to what appears to be a Duramax conversion. So this may not be a $5k drop-in to your open top, but it does give you an idea of what's possible.
